Hispanic Culture In Houston: El primer día: un día de aventuras de mercado!

Por el primer día para la mañana nosotros fuimos a una mercado, una botica, una panadería. Por el tarde, nosotros fuimos a una restaurante Argentino que era muy delicios.

Primer, fuimos a una panadería que se llama El Bolillo. Yo fui a este panaderia muchos veces antes de hoy y me gusta mucho porque es muy delicioso. Nosotros compramos tortillas de harina y diferente tipos de pan que incluso churros. Después de esto, nosotros caminamos a través de la calle a la botica. Una botica es un sinónimo de farmacia, pero es una palabra muy antiguo y no usan mucho. Pero en este contexto es como una farmacia natural con herbias y mucho mas cosas naturales. Nosotros compramos dulces, fruta seca, pétalos de hibisco, y los trabajadores nos dio bolsitos con cosas diferentes por gratis porque nosotros son estudiantes. Entonces, nosotros fuimos al mercado por observar y comprar frutas verduras y los otras cosas que había en el mercado. Había muchos cosas como juguetes y joyería, y otras cosas como verduras, frutas, nueces, y especias.

Pasamos la mayor parte de la tarde en busca de comida. Queríamos comer auténtica comida Hispano. Nos detuvimos en cuatro restaurantes antes de que encontramos uno. Comimos almuerzo en un café de la Argentina “Argentina Café.” Pedimos empanadas, ensalada de pollo y mango, ensaladas y un sándwich tradicional argentino. Esperando el almuerzo hablamos con dos trabajadores. Hablamos con un estudiante universitario que fue un jefe y un camarero. Nos pusimos a probar un té tradicional que era muy alto en cafeína. Aprendimos que el té era como lo mismo que el café para los estadounidenses. El almuerzo fue delicioso. Recomiendo las empanadas. Después del almuerzo volvimos a la escuela. En la escuela tiene una lección de corte de mango y tiene que comer todas nuestras delicias de la panadería y los mercados.

For the first day in the morning we went to a market, an apothecary, a bakery. In the afternoon, we went to an Argentinian restaurant which was very delicious.

First, we went to a bakery called El Bolillo. I went to this bakery many times before today and I really like it because it is very delicious. We buy flour tortillas and different types of bread that even churros. After this, we walked across the street to the drugstore. A pharmacy is synonymous with pharmacy, but it is a very old word and they do not use much. But in this context it is like a natural pharmacy with herbs and much more natural things. We bought sweets, dried fruit, hibiscus petals, and the workers gave us bags with different things for free because we are students. Then, we went to the market to observe and buy fruits vegetables and the other things that were in the market. There were many things like toys and jewelry, and other things like vegetables, fruits, nuts, and spices.

We spent most of the afternoon looking for food. We wanted to eat authentic Hispanic food. We stopped at four restaurants before we found one. We ate lunch in an Argentinean coffee "Argentina Café." We ordered empanadas, chicken and mango salad, salads and a traditional Argentinean sandwich. Waiting for lunch we spoke with two workers. We talked to a college student who was a boss and a waiter. We started to try a traditional tea that was very high in caffeine. We learned that tea was just like coffee for Americans. Lunch was delicious. I recommend the empanadas. After lunch we returned to school. At school you have a cut of mango lesson and you have to eat all our delights of the bakery and the markets.
